interested in purchasing a h&k 45. What are some good or bad things about the gun.

Extremely well made weapons, but due to the .45 cal. size could be unmanageable for someone with small hands. | | Poor Taste?

Hello, I'm female and just bought this gun on 11/23. I've got pretty small hands, and sort of chubby fingers, so most pistols feel a bit too big. The shop I go to just got the HK45 tactical 2 days prior to me seeing it, falling in love with the feel and purchasing. I have a CWP so I was able to take it from their case, pay for it and walk over to the indoor range 10 feet away. I wound up putting 125 rounds through it that day. I'm in LOVE! With a full magazine the recoil is absolutely minimal and you can feel it a little more when your getting down to the last 2 (magazine holds 10 which is nice). This pistol is VERY manageable and really accurate. The sights are great and when I got it home took it into a pitch-black room and was surprised at how well they glowed after being in the case. I also bought an "Uncle Mikes" Holster (size 5) for the HK 45 before I left the range. I've heard people complain about how their thumbs rest on the safety which could cause problems while firing, but with smaller hands I didn't even see this as an issue. This is my first H&K ever and I was actually leaning towards the Sig 220 or the Springfield TRP (because I really like the look of a 1911) but I'm thrilled with what I bought, it's beautiful to me... If you have any other questions, let me know!
