Airline travel management sounds like a very interesting
career choice. When we have bad weather
in one part of the country, the flights get canceled in many areas, and then
there is a back up of customers who wait for days to get a flight, here in the
U.S. Due to global warming, weather
patterns linger for longer periods of time now, and traveling is becoming a nightmare. I wonder if we employ people to manage this problem. Also, due to the costs of fuel, airlines are
now merging to stay financially sound.
The numbers of flights are fewer in many locations, too. People will always have to get from one place
to another, and your job is probably very secure. I have heard that there is some kind of
Tourism Degree that compliments this kind of work, and makes your opportunities
for advancement increase substantially.
I don’t know if tourism would interest you, but you might look into it.
