There does not seem to be any information on the net that I have seen to answer your question.  Automotiveforums.com always gives me the information I need, but no one there really had an answer.  It  shouldn’t be a big problem, but then again, it’s illegal to turn back your odometer, so maybe this is why it is so difficult to get information.  Assuming that there was nothing in your car manual about it, why not give the dealership, service department, a call, and perhaps they can fix it for you.  I know that a kilometer is 1.6 miles, but who wants to sit and figure that out all day long.
