7/12/06 tried to fill gas tank. Pump kept shutting off, tried another pump same thing. stopped at the local hyundai dealer and was told there is a valve in the filler tube that must not be right. Never heard of a valve in the filler tube. Is this an easy fix or does this involve removing the gas tank? why is there a valve in the filler tube? Been driving cars for 50+ years and never heard of such a valve. I have an appointment at the dealer tomorrow. Any advice as to what I might expect would be helpful. Could I disenmgage this valve or is it an anti-splash thing?
