Dr. Ian Stevenson did not use hypnosis on any children. I think that would have been against the law. Furthermore, if he had, it probably would be at the discretion of the parents and I don't Dr. Stevenson is licensed to practice hypnosis on children. In the medical field, it requires certain licensing to be able to perform any procedures. For example, a pediatrician is trained to take care of children, but a plastic surgeon would be considered liable if he tried to administer service to a child. Do you get the drift? It all has to do with ethics, license and training.
