To make a list of the things that are essential for good
health you would have to include drinking at least eight glasses of water every
day. Also, you need to have vitamins, proteins,
minerals, and sunshine. Of course, you
must eat vegetables, grains, fruits and nuts, to get the vitamins and other
nutrients that give you a defense system against disease. You have to sleep well, in order to function
well. You must exercise to keep your
body strong, and you must educate yourself in order to mature and participate
in the world. Healthy means, communicating
with your peers, doing work that makes a contribution, and being loved by
people that love you back. It is not
just water, air, food and the absence of disease that makes a person healthy,
it is a good balance of all the things that I have just listed. Of all of these good things for your health,
love is probably the most important, and it’s right up there with air and
water.
