People travel for so many reasons.  Often, a change of scenery helps a person to relax and unwind from a stressful life.  People like to meet new friends and experience other life styles and cultures.  Others want to see the Seven Wonders of the World.  Many people like to go to Europe to see the cradle of Civilization.  It helps them to understand where we came from, and what we have to be grateful for as Americans.  In Rome, you can see the great cathedrals, and the paintings of the greatest artists who ever lived; in Egypt there are the Pyramids and the Nile River.  Who would not want to see all of the things you read about and hear about all of your life?  It is good to change your perspective and point of view by embracing other countries, and learning how they live and work.  Our lives revolve around a Global Economy and therefore we should spend a Euro or pesos.   We should also visit places where the people still walk and bike to work.  The more we do, the more we know.
