I have a 1999 saab 9-5 3.0L V6. I recently slide (on ice) into a curd doing about 5 mph. Immediately after, I pulled over and checked my car, and nothing appeared to be wrong. Then as I was driving, this clacking noise started coming from the timing belt. It kept on for a few days and one day it just stopped. I think I broke a belt tensioner and it was being hit by the timing belt pulley and finally broke off. I already had my suspension looked at and everything was ok except I need an alignment now. Have any idea what it could've been?
