Iridology is the study of how the hundreds of thousands of nerve endings in the iris of the eye are connected ,by impulses, to every tissue in the body.  These impulses are transmitted by the brain and the nervous system.  After years of research, the iris has been charted along with its corresponding organ and tissue functions.  Doctors say that if an organ or tissue of the body becomes stronger or weaker due to infection or other physical problems, study of structure, color degree, lightness or darkness of the iris, can pinpoint which area of the body is suffering an injury or malady.  The study of the iris can tell the presence of a physical problem; however it cannot identify it specifically.  Iridology can warn of potential health risks, before any other symptom is identified.  It can show the presence of inflammation or any toxins in the body.  This kind of warning of a pre-existing condition has been known to save lives.
