I would go for broke.  If you have it, wear it.  It's interesting that those who protest are those who cannot afford them.

I agree, the ones that are already made into coats should be worn.  However, if it is an endangered species.... well, we should NOT be putting an order for one.  There are plenty of great faux furs available.  In fact so good that they can be mistaken for the real thing... thst may also be a problem.... paint guns and all.

Shouldn't we also consider that the fur business in Canada was abusiness that supported the very lives of the aboriginal peoples for the better part of the last century?  What about them?  I don't see the protest groups coming up with solutions that help what is lost income for them.  Until they do, I will wear what I have.

Are you out of your mind? "It's already dead?" What do you think that animal went through before it died? It was treated with total disregard. The animals they use for fur coats aren't even dead when their skin is removed. How would you like to be skinned alive? Do you have a dog or cat at home? How would you like for your animal to suffer like that?

yes it is still wrong!
its the principle of it, what you might not actually realise is that animal died to keep you warm and probably died in one of the nastiest ways possible.
honestly, before you start to wear real fur check out some of the videos that show you exactly what happens to the animals. Maybe then your opinion that "the critters are already dead" will change vastly.

i love fur, it is much better than fake fur, it is warmer and doesnt matt up like fake, i was attacked by a fur protester a few years ago in london, he was going to throw pink paint over me and my mother, i took steps to stop him and he could no longer throw it as he had to hold his bleeding nose, we live in a free country and I have as much right to wear one as he has not to!
