We really do believe that we need that morning cup of
coffee, ok maybe two, to open our eyes, stir our imagination, and give us the
energy to do our work with enthusiasm.
So what do we do with the fact that coffee, although considered harmless
by most of us, is a stimulant. It does
play games with our nervous system. The
fact is that 85% of us drink the stuff, and love it. Although we know that to remain healthy, we
should reduce stress, remain calm, slow down, and take time to breathe. Each person is different, and some of us can
tolerate 2 cups or about 16 ounces and be just fine. Others can drink 5 or 6 cups and have no shaky
hands, no depression or restlessness and no stomach ache. Still, since caffeine is in colas, tea,
chocolate, fruits and so many other
things, maybe it is time to watch the intake, try to cut back and see if we
aren’t just a little healthier, which is a good thing.
