Rotties are loyal. loving family dogs who are protective. You are very fortunate to have a non-aggressive dog. People who meet your dog will soon learn how very loving they are. Not to be confused with being a "wimp"... They are not wimps but they are natuarlly protective and do not need to be aggressive to do so. They will protect you with their lives because of their undying loyalty to you and your family.
Besides, why do you want an agressive dog? There is nothing wrong with a Rottie that is gentle and obedient and loving. I am sure that if called upon he will defend you.
