Here is a link that shows Cloud and Tifa together. http://www.bebo.com/PhotoAlbumBig.jsp?PageNbr=1&MemberId=3352982128&PhotoAlbumId=3353134001&PhotoId=3388976761.  Many watchers of Disc 2 think that Cloud and Tifa were romantic under the Highwind.  My friends and I don’t think so at all.  This is a game, and I think at one point I remember them cuddling a little but that’s it.  Tifa is supposed to be Clouds friend from his childhood days that he grew up with and knows well.  Others say that his real interest is in Aerith, although she is not a very nice person.  If you think about it, at that moment, in those scenes they know that a big battle is coming.  They think that the others have gone away and that they are very much alone.  They talk about having heard each others voices calling out when all around them were the sounds of screaming voices.  You are supposed to assume that there is an attachment between them ,as they fight for the stars, together.   This is a game, and that’s all there is…a moment of peacefulness, and nothing more.
