Halie is about 7 yrs. old, I adopted her in montana and moved to oregon a few years later.  Last year she started developing this skin irritation on her chest.  doctor said it was allergies.  got her on his recommended dog food.  he also put her on a sort of steroid called medrol.  she can only take it every coupld of months because it is so bad for their organs.  needless to say  a year later she still has major problems, a rediculouse licking problem and she wont stop licking without the meds.  i've gone back to the vet several times and he insists its still allergies.  i don't buy it.  if anyone has ever experienced anything like this with their malamute, please let me know  i don't know what to do to make her feel better. thanks!
