I was at several pet
stores the other day trying to find a hypoallergenic pet shampoo. Due to the
recent recalls and pet product contaminations, I want to make sure that all my
pet products are made in the U.S. Well, I couldn't seem to find any, which was
quite frustrating. So I searched online and came across this website
www.gordonmacintyre.com. They had several different formulations that were
created by a U.S. noted veterinary dermatologist, Dr. John Gordon. Apparently
he combined rare botanicals and unique fragrances that nurture a pet's skin. I
got the 4 sampling sizes since I didn't know which fragrance I would like the
most. The package shipped in two days and yesterday my dogs got their baths. I
was really amazed at how shiny and smooth their coats were after; the best part
was how wonderful they smelled. They are literally walking air fresheners. I definitely
recommend this product to anyone who wants his or her pet looking, smelling and
feeling good.

I can’t tell if these shampoo products are for dogs and
cats? It seems strange that a shampoo that exfoliates a dog’s skin and rinses
well from its wiry or thick and shaggy hair, would be as effective, and not too
strong for a cat or kitten? Perhaps I
just did not see the information that I was looking for on the site. Because of all the recalls on pet products,
I try to be very careful what I purchase for our dogs. Nothing that I have seen in our local pet stores
is for both dogs and cats, with the exception of some flea medications. My neighbor has a little Asian cat of some
kind, and she has to be very careful how she baths it, and with what type of cat
shampoo. Its skin is very delicate and
its coat is thin an fine. It makes me
feel more confident to ask a lot of questions, so I will e-mail Gordon Mac
Intyre for some answers.
