The American Society of Plastic Surgeons will be happy to give you a list of the accredited Plastic Surgeons in North Carolina who would perform this kind of cosmetic surgery for you.  It is always best to consult with your family doctor, and at least two of these specialists before you choose to have this kind of elective surgery done.  It is also recommended that you speak to former patients of these surgeons’ for a reference and to confer about their experiences with pain management, healing time, complications and what to expect as time passes.  Your plastic surgeon should be able to answer all of your questions and give you specific answers, in writing, if you wish.  Also, ask about  long term affects of the procedure, and what side effects  accompany the surgery.
