Rebourn baby dolls are incredibly beautiful and life like, almost to the point of disbelief.  I read that they now have ways to make them feel warm, have a simulated heart beat, and their expressions are just perfectly baby-like.  I would think that a craftsperson would have to be not just a sewer, but an artist, to accomplish this task.  I did see several links that give directions for making this kind of baby doll.  One site that looked simple was this link: http://www.associatedcontent.com/article/58116/how_to_make_a_reborn_berenguer_doll.html.
