On July 17, 2006, Avril and Deryck got married in Montecito , California.  It was an outdoor, non-denominal ceremony and her dad walked her down the isle.  All of their friends flew in from Ontario to see them get married.  Avril carried white roses and wore an amazing Vera Wang dress.  Everyone threw rose petals at the bride and groom after the wedding.  They had a lovely dinner for their guests at that estate and everyone danced and celebrated into the late night hours.   Avril told her friends and fans, shortly after her wedding, that her third album would have many songs on it that discussed being in love, because that was what she was feeling when she wrote her latest songs.
