You can’t get an answer to a question about having a home
birth after have had a caesarian section, without giving someone who is a
skilled doctor in that field, information about what kind of caesarian section
you had, why you had it; and what your condition is like right now, to warrant
your having another caesarian section.
It is more then likely that there is a pre-existing condition with your
uterus, birth canal, or many other factors that are preventing your having a
vaginal birth process. You need to
speak to your doctor about your situation, your condition, and why this person
does not think that you would be a candidate for the homebirth. Doctors no longer do c-sections, if they
have a choice, and there must be a very good reason for this decision. If you have a homebirth and get
complications, you will risk your life and your babies well being. You need information, not guess work. If you do not feel that your current doctor
is answering your questions, and considering your feelings; then get a second
opinion, from a doctor who specializes in problematic births.
