Question: I don't understand what I need to do to activate my site.
Answer: It's up to the ringmaster to activate Rings! If you have got the site-code on the ring, wait until the ring-master gets round to you. Usually 2 or 3 days! Have you E-mailed the RingMaster? Occasionally they will wait until they get a confirmation from you! | | Poor Taste?

Question: I would like to add an image
Answer: The process is the same if you are "ringmaster" or "member"! You have obeyed the "If you need to make changes on your image, please don't forget to click yes below" ?
"Yes below" is important, But its in RED, so its practically invisible on the black, which makes it seems like a comment and not important!!!
"Max Width:250 px Max Height: 100 px (pixels!)" is important
as well, and the definition should not be overly large too! Try 12
px/cm as opposed to 72 px/cm and see what I mean! I think that minimum
definition is definitely preferable, as it's easier to wait for minimum
definition graphic instead of waiting for Rings that have lots of
pictures in high resolution graphics!
Insert [Save] and wait! It is a while before the picture appears, I don't know why... I logout and see whether it is present at the next login!
If
it doesn't appear, try the further attempt when the RingSurf server and
your ISP are lightly loaded. The server probably missed your site the
first time! If you need to make changes on your image please don't forget to click yes below." ?

Question: I'm having trouble getting my ring html code on my website. Can you tell me specifically how to add it?
Answer: Copy the HTML code fragment by highlighting the entire thing - CTRL + A and then copy it - CTRL+C. Go to your website and wherever you plan to place the webring on your page - paste the HTML code fragment to your page - CTRL+V.
Once you save your work - your ring-code should show up on the page.

Who: Ringmaster
Question: After checking the
queue, the message is "No Code". When I go to their site, I see they
have the site-Code on their site. What exactly is wrong so I can
help them get the ring code there for them correctly?
Answer: Without Frames. usually the members will have the "http://" only in the "Ring Code URL(optional):"! Insert the actual ring-code URL!
With frames. Usually you can, using Firefox, point the mouse at any "blank" in the site-code and pressing the RIGHT mouse... If the "this frame" (in Firefox) appears, then "show only this frame"... (If "this frame" doesn't appear, the same URL appears in the url-space) If the picture changes, and any other URL appears, (with the site code) that is the URL of the site code and will appear in the second URL window ("Ring Code URL(optional):",) in the members entry! (99% true, but 1% the URL stays the same, whatever the actual URL!)
