did lord byron write a poem called The Bride\'s Confession
|
I don’t think that Lord Byron wrote the “Bride’s Confession”. I have studied Lord Byron for a long time as
an English Literature major, a I don’t think I have ever seen a poem by that
name, among his poems. One website I saw www.eroticabibliophile.com had
something about this poem being written by Charles Carrington and” falsely
attributed to Lord Byron”. You might
want to check this site to find the answers to your questions. I checked at the website oxfordjournals to
see if anything came up, but nothing did.
It might be a good idea to search the web for more confirmation on the
literary works of Charles Carrington to see if you can find the poem, written
in its entirety, and then you can compare it to whatever text you are searching
for, to see if this is the work you need to identify.
