Looking for a rental house

I was born and raised in Arkansas. My husband's company moved us to Florida with tones of promises. Sold my home in Harrison. Make a story short we are moving back HOME. The place is beautiful here, nice weather. But that's about all the nice things I can say about this place. The thing I miss the most is friendly folks. My question is how do I find rental properties in the Omaha or close to the Missouri line area? Need at least 2BR, also have 10 lb house dog  that is very much part of my family that will have to be welcome too.

It would be best to look online. Craigslist is a good place to start because it covers all of 50 states. There is special section on rentals and you will get a phone number to call or send an email inquiry before you move out there. You can ask the owner or landlord to send pictures of the home so that you can look at it.You can to go online newspapers that are state specific and conduct a real estate rental search. Or you can contact a realtor in the area that specializes in rentals to help you to find the right place that you are looking for. Good luck.
