At Arkansas’s Crater of Diamonds State Park, near an old mine shaft, people who find diamonds, can keep them.  In the last six months, two people have found huge yellow diamonds there. In the last 100 years over 75,000 diamonds have been found on this land by the farmer who owned it.. He found about two a day, and they were not all yellow.  Some of them were white and some were brown. In 1976, the land became a State Park and since then over 25,000 diamonds have  been found. South of Laramie, in Wyoming forty diamond deposits were found.  Maybe Wyoming will be the next big producer of diamonds, the same way that Canada has surpassed South Africa, as the largest diamond producing country, in recent years.
