I am 71 years young, have been a student of religion, mythology, anthropology, sociology, and ancient history for over fifty years, am a confirmed agnostic, with leanings toward atheism and a fervent desire to discuss my views with others. I am very interested in ordination in the Universal Life Church. Please advise. Thank you.

There is a site online that helps you become an Ordained
Minister of the Universal Life Church, right online. They say in their text that over 20 million
ministers have been ordained this way all over the world. They accept everyone, who wants to be
ordained and celebrate the there are no rings to kiss and no questions to
ask. It seems sad to me that in
celebrating themselves, they find it necessary to make references to the
practices of other faiths, as if what takes place is somehow negatively
received by them. If you are agnostic, and hold strongly to that
point of view, it is your right to do so, and to say that you do. Perhaps this is the right venue for you to
find acceptance, and the freedom to express your self while doing a great
service for others, who wish to make a commitment to each other. This is the link to that site. You might want to investigate this
ordination, just to make sure that it is legal in the city and state where you
would be joining people in the holy state of matrimony. http://www.themonastery.org/?gclid=CL3t7_yEkpMCFQX4gAodpDRGTg
