Abortion, to me, is a subjective question. It depends on who you ask, what answer you
will receive. Some see abortion as
another word for murder, and think that it is a sin. The bible say that “thou shalt not Kill” and
aborting a fetus, to them ,is killing a living being. A person might have a good argument for
terminating a pregnancy. They may have
been raped, the fetus might be severely deformed and incapable of having a
normal life, outside of an institution; they may have been the victim of
incest, or their life might be at risk if the pregnancy is carried to
term. Some advocates for “Pro-LIFE” say
carry the fetus to term, and have the child adopted but do not end its life. All of the arguments are made by caring
people. Each person has his or her own
point to make and views to demonstrate.
For me, personally, I believe that a woman has the right to choose what
she will do with her unborn fetus, if there are issues that would cause the
baby, or herself, great harm. Even if
the pregnancy was not planned, and or the person was not capable of raising a
child for whatever reason; I still believe that a person has that right to
choose the destiny of the little being inside.
