what are the subjective books?
|
Listology.com gives you a list of all the books that they
think you should read before you die.
The best way to read subjectively in my humble opinion is to make YOUR
OWN LIST. The best way to do this is to
write down the subjects that interest you.
Now write down a list of subjects that you know very little about but
would like to know more. Then take your
list to either the internet or better yet, your local big book store like
Barnes & Noble or Dalton Book Sellers, whatever happens to be in close
proximity to your home. At these
stores, the books are divided by subject matter. You can make a master list of those books that
are written about the subjects that reflect your personal interests and state
of mind. If you are a romantic, then there
are hundreds of books about “happy endings”.
If you love fashion, and its history, then you will have an interesting
list from that venue. The whole point of
“subjective” reading is to spend your time with a book or books of YOUR CHOICE….you
are the main focus. You don’t have to
purchase all the books, just visit the nearest library and get a library card, for a
minimal fee. Some books may be available
on line and amazon.com sells used books for a very reasonable price.
