Your blog sounds great!!  Did you ever see the shows on DIY with Jackie Guerra.  She is so funny and she has amazing ideas for simple and beautiful jewelry.   She shows you the techniques using eye pins, and chain links.  Jackie explains how to make a long necklace that can be twisted and worn as a double strand choker.    She took a one inch chain, attached  fresh water pearls  and vintage glass pieces, using eye pins,  with a loop at each end, and  jump rings to attach the pearls , glass and chain pieces all together.  At the end ,she placed a lobster clasp, and removable pendants.  You can interchange the pendants that you place on the lobster clasp, to achieve different looks, some more formal and others that are casual. The sharp wit, abundance of creative ideas, and great flair with which she explains the process, is very entertaining.  She makes you feel as if anything you create, is great art with form and function.
