You could do what I did if you want to.  I volunteered at a Habitats for Humanity gathering in my city.  I did this with my friends from work.  Many people came from all over the area to donate their time and energy to help build homes for people in need.  I did not know how to build anything.  A lot of people did not know any skill, but we learned and there was work for everyone of every age.  We worked, sweat, laughed and got to know each other.   I met someone who was patient, caring and who gave up time he did not have, to do something for others.  You don’t have to build a house to meet someone nice.  You have to volunteer in some way, and why do I say this?  The people, who give something of themselves, expecting nothing, have a humble heart and compassionate nature.  These are the kinds of people you want in your life.  Every city has people in need.  You could help gather canned goods for a food bank, or enter a mile walk for Cancer,  or even collect books for the schools that don’t have a good library.  Get involved in charitable causes, give something up for someone else and you will find good people.  One of them could be Mr. Right.
