It sounds like you need a good personal injury lawyer.  This situation sounds complicated and you will need to get an excellent lawyer, or at the very least, a good legal opinion.  Of course, this can be expensive, and lawyers don’t always have the best reputations.  To get a lawyer that has experience in handling personal injury cases, people call the BAR ASSOCIATION in their City or State and ask for three references.  The Bar Association only recommends lawyers with a good reputation.  Many lawyers will work “pro-bono” for a percentage of whatever a settlement might be.   Also, make a list of questions about the accident or anything you need to know to prepare for the court action.  Your lawyer should be able to tell you what is fair compensation for TBI injuries and he or she should also know how the laws of your city and state deal with DUI’s.  There are web sites that offer free legal evaluations, but you have a lot of variables  in your case,  and getting good information could be difficult.
