Does anybody know how to get into knitting displays for yarn distributors or representatives?

If you want to get into knitting displays for the large
companies like Lion, Bernat or Red Heart, it might not be a bad idea to go to
their web sites and click on the ‘contact us” link. E-mail them about your skills, and send
photos of your work, and say that you would like to knit display items. http://www.lionbrand.com/ has a great site
and beautiful yarns. Most of the major
craft stores, like Michael’s Crafts and Joanne Crafts use their yarns. It would be worth it, to send a quick e-mail
and see if you get a response. Here is
the Bernat site link: http://www.bernat.com/. You could also visit your local favorite yarn
shop and ask the owner or manager how to get information about display
knitting. Often, they are very nice
people, and they have the direct contacts to help you get some attention for
your work. Take some samples with
you. The large craft stores may want
someone to knit for them, if their budgets allow it??
