In the 80’s all the women wanted to look like Madonna, a punk rocker, or one of Charlie’s Angels.  They all wanted the Farah Fawcett hair style, or they wanted to have bleached blond hair like the “Material Girl” or neon streaks like their favorite rock star.   Girls wore everything from mini skirts and leggings to “off the shoulder” sweatshirts, scrunch socks or long t-shirts with thick leather belts.  The guys wore either the Billy Idol leather look, or Ocean Pacific anything.  Some guys wanted to look like the Miami Vice cops and wore no socks, t-shirts with jackets , and guys loved  parachute pants.  Everyone wore Ray-Ban sun glasses, rock star tee shirts and leather or jean jackets.  In the 80’s everything good about fashion was known as “the bomb”, girls were “boy toys” and the best thing to do was “chill”.
