Club drugs like Ecstasy, GHB, Special K and Liquid X that are used at raves and concerts, cause permanent damage to the neurons in the brain, affecting  your memory, and judgment.  Club drugs are stimulants and they make your heart rate accelerate, and your blood pressure climb rapidly.   Use of these drugs, even one time, has led to heart and kidney failure, seizures, loss of muscle control and breathing problems that will be with you for life.  Since these drugs are illegal, there is no known control over what or how much of anything is in them.  No regulation of the content means that the person does not know what they are ingesting.  These drugs cause people to lose consciousness and even to become comatose.   What people don’t know about these drugs is not only that the effects are long lasting, but that they are also addictive.   Getting the word out about these facts, is vital, since the drugs change frequently, but they have the same devastating results.
