Which one are you referring to in your post?  Are you interested in the Ukrainian artist Guryey Vlad or Vlad Makarov the musician and painter.  Both of these artists are favorites of mine.  I do like Guryey’s use of color and he is very prolific in his subject matter.  I find an intensity that is attractive and sometimes a little over whelming for me.  Vlad Makarov has a different sensibility.  There is a quietness and a refinement in his work that brings me peace.  In his work there is a harmony of color, and object, within a defined space, within yet another space.  I love it!  Check out his work at http://www.letov.ru/makarov/art/index.html
