The word “art” connotes many meanings.  It is word that is very hard to define because it’s such a broad topic. For instance, there are so many art forms and one would ask ,are we speaking about objects or are we discussing music and literature?  Many people define art as “anything that is created from a humans creative expression.  It is something that is derived from your experiences, and with theater art, the artist expresses vocally, love, anger, pity, laughter and every, or any other emotion.  Whatever your definition of art is, I think that art is a gift that is to be cherished.  It often represents a body of work that came from deep within the creator and it becomes a gift to the senses and keeps on giving.  Shel Silverstein’s “The Giving Tree” is a gift that I gave my children once because the content was a gift for the spirit of human kindness within us.  My children now share it with their children.  I hope I have made my point.
