Being a celebrity does not have to be a disaster.  It is all in how you handle your celebrity.  For instance, Britney Spears seems like a train wreck right now and people blame it on everything from her family pushing her into show business at a young age, to the media frenzy she creates whenever she is in sight.  George Clooney, on the other hand, started out in television at an early age, but he was either a lot smarter or better managed from the beginning, and learned to keep his private life, just that, private.  He does not let the world around him, get a strangle hold on him.  He takes a proactive approach to his career and his celebrity status, by always keeping the most important people and issues in his life PRIVATE.
