One Holy Catholic Church means that the “one true church is the Catholic Church”.  Many Catholics may not even know that there is such a thing but scholars of Catholicism believe that there is one true church.  These scholars say that when Christ said “ I pray not only for them, but for all who believe in me through their word, so that they may all be ONE, as you Father are in me, and I in you, that they also may be in us, that the world may believe that you sent me”.   Scholars feel that what Christ meant was that all faiths, Christian, Protestant, and others, and Catholics too, should come together and be ONE CHURCH; ONE HOLY CATHOLIC and APOSTOLIC CHURCH.

It means that catholics really have the arrogance to believe there is only one true Church and one way to pray !!!! They might consider what it means that their one and only church really believes that the dalai lama will not go to Heaven ( if such a place), because he is not a member of the one and only Catholic Church. Did God really want us to have all these religions telling us they are ALL the one and only ??Personally, I think my "god for all the world" would have had nothing to do with such a belief.................

You didn't mention the Catholics coming under one Holy and apostolic protestant religion ???  Why is that please ?

"Catholic" means universal.  Catholic is Christian. Same ideology, just different doctine. I respect my fellow brothers and sisters in Christ, and I wish that one day we can agree on just peace and the next coming of Christ. But yet there are some that wish to debate that Catholics are not Christians, the "one holy Catholic church" does not only mean only Catholics but is meant for Christians as well.
