Since that plan isn’t working, you could do one of two things.  You could act detached, and show an interest in someone else that you find attractive.  If she really is” in to you”, she will have a reaction.   OR, you could just back off, give her some space and concentrate on doing the things that make you happy, such as hanging out with people you can really be yourself with; and make a decision not to waste your time on anyone who, for whatever reason, has no moment to spare for someone who likes them.   Five of my good friends were in an accident this weekend, and two of them did not make it.   At the little memorial which was hastily put up in their honor, another friend said," we will not have them in our lives for one more second."  Life is short!  There isn’t a moment to waste.
