Until
recently the Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) highest scores would
assure a good student of a chance for
admission to medical or engineering Schools.
Today, the (HSC) is not considered a good key indicator of a person’s
knowledge. ENTRANCE EXAMS have now taken
a prominent position in determining who gets into these schools. Students have decided to study for the
entrance exams as much as a year before they are going to take them. They hire tutors or coaches to help them prepare
for these examinations, to be assured of a high score. THE Common Entrance Test or (CET), or other
entrance exams of this type are the key indicators ,now, of who gets in. You could score as high as 90% on a (HSC) and
low on your entrance exams, and you would NOT be admitted to the college of

what do you mean by "hsc"? High school? The standard entrance exam is the MCAT, and is taken after completing an accredited bachelor's degree or higher. It is a long and comprehensive exam which tests your language skills, and poses a variety of math and science problems.
