pros:
1) Makes for a cleaner ring derived of bad HTML coding.
2) You can navigate between sites more easily without having to hunt down the page the ring was placed on to get to the next site.
cons:
1) All existing rings will have to be updated by both ringmasters and webring members.
2) Webring owners are limited to making their ring banners in the sizes provided in the webring setup.
3) Sites using a "break out of frames" script will not open with the RingSurf navigation bar but break it.
4) No place on the hub page for ring owners to be contacted.
5) No place on the hub page for ring owners to be able to list their rules for joining a ring.
6) Most ring owners have a separate rings "home" page which can't be added to the rings hub page (Unless they make it the very first ring member) not can you customize the code to add to it.
Looks like there are more cons than pro. :-/
