The Dalai Lamia has witnessed so much turmoil in recent months, along with the deaths of 160 fellow Tibetans, during the peaceful protest against China.  All of his speeches and every one of his books, reflect his deep understanding of the human spirit; and the need for compassion and tolerance of all men and every faith.   In his most recent book,” Ancient Wisdom-Modern World- Ethics for the New Millennium”, he asks for a revolution of spirituality to help us cope with the impediments of keeping our faith in this new age of moral, and social dilemmas.  Having traveled as much as he has, and having seen so much social and moral injustice, this holy man helps us keep our faith, while fighting for the human rights of all men.  He is a gift to this world, and his birthday is a chance to celebrate all that he is, and everything he is doing.
