I do not think that RingSurf read the Forum!
I have one ring with "adoption" in my name for ages. Even e-mailed RingSurf support two times, no reply...

The email last time suggested I should have sufficient powers to get rid of the spam, as I am the "head" of other forums. N reply...

I am "ringmaster" of two ring on WebRing and Member of several rings on RingSurf, but I prefer RingSurf. It has one difficulty that webring does not have -- the inability to accept "Frames Busting Code." This causes the viewer to abort, and you can't resume your surfing from the right place as the "list" does not resemble the order of the viewer!!!

I know 'MySpace Page' has page not found. So does the 'Hall Of Honor' I want. With the way I see it I can start the two over again. At least I am hoping, lol. As for 'Capitol Hill Inner Circle', I enjoyed visiting the websites it contains. It was one of those female things that I just had to have it.

If you looked at some of the rings that up for adoption. Most of them say 'Page Not Found'. And there are other rings that say the same thing which RingSurf hasn't spotted yet.

RingSurf probably reads the forum here and there. I read the message that was written to ML and Mr Twizzle. Which proves they (RingSurf) had to peek in every now and then, lol.

I sure hope RingSurf gives you those powers soon about the spam. This forum is practically swarming with the spam. At least, on this page of the forum. I know it hasn't been a million times but it sure seems like I have pressed the poor taste button on the spam that many times.

The 'viewer' is the page that opens up on the website one is looking at, right? I am still learning about the ring fragments and how the different fragments are constructed, etc.

As we are in Germany, The ringsurf won't contact mr twizzle at all! Thats why he gave up,  allied to he could NOT get E-mail TO the sites! He tried registration-address, email addresses which are given in the site and sites own email-handler. No contact!

well, you can generate web rings, (I think), but you might get trouble with the site owner over Frames Busting Code! When the code exists, and you don't know until you energise the site, the code makes the viewer abort!
(the code is present in 1 in 25 sites! you can't do anything about it, excepting to un-energise...)

It seems unfair about Mr. Twizzle.

I haven't tried expermenting with the RingSurf fragment. I would be afraid of screwing it up, lol until I learn more.

I have however made two webring fragments with Alt-Webring (I have two webrings I own there).  The first fragment took me a week to make. It was very frustrating. The second one was easier but still was frustrating. I would like to get a chance to make more to get the hang of the thing. Practice makes perfect, right?

As for the adoption of the rings, perhaps we should put on the title of topic. "Hello, the baby is over due, it is time for a delivery. In dues the labor." I am just kidding. But then again, one never knows what will work with companies, lol.
