Moving is a huge task, both physically and emotionally.  You may like where you live right now, and that’s nice, but moving to North Carolina could be a great opportunity for you.  If you must move, then there must be a good reason.  Try to look at the positive side of this process.  It will be easier to make the necessary changes if you are optimistic about it.  North Carolina is a very beautiful part of the country.  The costs for rent or home ownership are very fair, and you can live well for less money then on the east or west coast.  You can always return to your former home for visits; and you can call or e-mail your friends and invite them to visit at your new location.  If you think of the benefits of making this move, you may be surprised to find that it has turned out to be a very good thing.
