What is up with this potential trade with Sheffield going to the MEts for Mike Cameron? Is it just me or is this trade so one-sided? Has George Steinbrenner become so desparate that he is going to trade away one of his best players? What is going on here? My walls are crumbling around me.

OK sheff-fan, you may be a little biased. I agree that it terms of offensive talent, Sheffield is overwhelmingly better than Cameron. BUT, the Yankees are stocked with offensive firepower that offense is not really an issue. However, Mike Cameron is a massive upgrade over Sheffield in the outfield. Cameron is a 2-time gold-glover and is widely considered to be one of the best defensive centerfielders in the game. He is also cheap. BY trading Sheffied, the Yankees are addressing the issues of defense and financial flexibility. Personally, I would love to see Sheffield become a New York Met. | | Poor Taste?
