Do you have to have a dodge dealership do the
warranty service work, ie 3000 mile and etc?

You do not have to have the Dodge Dealership do the warranty
work on your car. However, it is a good
idea to use the service department of your dealership so that you can
substantiate that you did have your car checked at every inspection date. This way, if a problem occurs and you can
show documentation that you had the oil changes, and inspections which are
required to maintain your cars operation;
whatever the problem is, it will
be corrected free of charge in most instances.
Some people keep their receipts for any work that they have done to the
car. If a problem occurs, the dealership
might suggest that it came from your usethe wrong parts or problems were
created because an unauthorized mechanic worked on the car. You don’t want to have those kinds of
problems, because, although you might save a little money by going to an
independent mechanic, if you need warranty work, and the dealer can get out of
doing it for free because you did not have the car checked there; in the end,
you will pay far more money in repair bills.
