You have a valid point.
If the person does not wish to have children, they do have the option of
having a vasectomy. A man can decide
what he wants, and he has options that do not have to be permanent. For instance, one of my friends thought that
he might pass along a serious genetic defeat that runs in his family and skips
a generation. He did not have the
problem, but his father did. At that
time, there was no test to see if he carried this dominant gene. He got a vasectomy. About, four years ago, he was able to take
a test which proved that he did not carry the gene, but his brother did. He was so relieved, and since he had gotten
married, he and his wife decided that they do want to have children. He had his vasectomy reversed. There are all kinds of choices, and a man has
as much right to make them, and a woman.
