If you need a value spring installation tool for your Mitsubishi, I am wondering if this would work? http://shoptoolsshoptools.com/shopdisplayproducts.asp?id=253&cat=Mitsubishi+Tools+.  At this link, if you scroll down about 3/4ths of the page, you will see a tool that costs about $26.95.  It says on the page that this tool is needed to depress the valve spring so that you can remove the value lifters.  It slides between the cam tower and the cam lobe, and then over the spring retainer.  It says that you can use it with a turbo or non-turbo engine, so I am hoping that this is the tool you are looking for, and that can be shipped to you quickly.  It is item #2692.
